Frequently Asked Questions:

Where will the nurse have me sit during foot care? You may sit wherever you’re comfortable! The nurse just needs to be able to sit in front of you on a portable stool or on the floor and have supplies close by.

If I’m not able to sit up for my foot care, will the nurse perform care if I’m lying in bed? Absolutely! If for whatever reason you are in bed, the nurse can still perform the same care as he or she would if you were sitting in a chair or on a couch.

What if I haven’t had my toenails cut in a very long time? That’s not a problem at all! There are various reasons people don’t routinely have their feet cared for.  We will still perform care, but it might take a little bit longer.

Will the foot care be painful? There might be short periods of discomfort when thinning/ cutting nails or smoothing a callus or corn, but it should not be painful! Your comfort is a priority, so we ask that you speak up when

there is any discomfort during care.

Do you give foot massages or paint toenails as part of the routine foot care? We do not offer massages or nail painting services but will apply lotion or oil to your feet towards the end of care.

Do you accept insurance? Knurse is a fee-for-service practice. We do not bill or accept insurance. Payment can be made online when booking appointment or in person at appointment.
